Squish- Arguably the star of the show, Squish is Annie's dog who also goes by Holly, or Monster, but mostly just squish. Since Annie is currently horseless, Squish must bear the brunt of her mother's affections and dutifully suffers through being dressed up in blankets and quartersheets. Squish is thought to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, though whether that's true or not, only the dog herself knows. Once a street-dog, she has adapted to domestic life, even achieving greatness in the areas of couch-and-bed hogging.

Clark Kent- His real name and photo have been obscured to keep his secret identity safe, or perhaps it's just so he doesn't have to acknowledge his attachment to Annie when she does crazy things like start a blog and refer to herself in the third person. He would tell you he is an Olympic-level long-suffering boyfriend, but the shrewd observer (like Annie) will opine he is eager to become a horse parent as soon as possible.
